VIN Deduct
Privacy Policy
VIN Deduct is designed around private, on-device recordkeeping and sharing that you control.
Information you enter
VIN Deduct handles vehicle descriptions, VINs, loan and lender details, interest logs, refinance notes, filing-status selections, MAGI estimates, and export preferences that you choose to enter.
Local recordkeeping
Vehicle, loan, and interest records stay on your iPhone. VIN Deduct does not require an account, cloud database, ads, or analytics.
Exports
PDF and CSV files are created only when you request them. Once exported, the file is handled by the destination and sharing method you choose. Review files for sensitive details before sharing.
Apple services
Apple processes App Store purchases and restores. VIN Deduct receives entitlement status needed to unlock purchased features.
Your choices
You can edit or delete saved records, decline optional permissions, control exported files, manage purchases through Apple, or remove locally stored app data by uninstalling the app.
Retention and deletion
On-device records remain until you delete them in the app or remove the app and its local data. Exported copies remain wherever you chose to save or share them and must be deleted from those destinations separately.
Children
VIN Deduct is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect children’s personal information through a developer-operated backend. A parent or guardian should supervise any information kept on a child’s device or profile.
Policy changes
If this policy changes, the effective date on this page will be updated. Material changes will be described where required by the app or App Store listing.
